OK, I've tried every version of ios249 and every configuration of hermes4 and 5 with wiiflow, cfgusbloaber, and usbloaderGX. I've also tried neogamma and softchip with cioscorped ios53 and also cioscorp v4 (Darkcorp) full install and I get game freeze all over the place. I am running out of ideas, I'm going to research a little more into this BCA stuff and see if a solution might pop up.

Wenn es nicht bald nen Fix für gibt, dann macht euch schonmal daraf gefasst das Forum temporär zu schließen, sobald Galaxy 2 mit dem Schutz aufn Markt kommt

Wie ich grad erlesen hab hat das Game nen neuartigen Kopierschutz und wir müßen wohl auf einen Update der diversen Softmods warten...
Aber gut das dieser noch ein paar Spiele vor Mario Galaxy 2 draussen ist, so können wir noch gedutlig auf ein Update warten

(was auch immer Softchip für ein Loader ist- hab noch nie von dem Ding gehört)

Before first waterfall Freeze.
pressing Home button froze game.



and pressing home button does not freeze game(meaning the console needed reset)

by messing about with hte ios's as a base and going through softchip loader channel.

im just gonna go past first level to see if i got freeze rid of etc and post urls of channel downloads and instructions.
Works for me, installed the cios hermes v4 222/223 then used SoftChip99 to load it with IOS 55.

How to make it work without an HDD:

Download Hermes installer [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register]
Extract / copy it to your apps directory on your SD card.
Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer
Read the warning message and push A
Select IOS249 to perform the install with D-pad left/right and push A
Select to Install Custom IOS 222 and select IOS38 merged with IOS37
Wait for download and installation to complete
Start HomeBrew Channel and start the cIOS 222 Installer again
Select IOS249 to perform the install again
This time select Custom IOS 223 and select merge with IOS38 and IOS37.


Assuming you put the softchip r99.wad in the wad folder of your SD card, install that.

7) Open up softchip and make sure you have your Game disc "copy" inside.
8) Use these exact settings and make sure you set your IOS to 55
Game's Language: English
Patch Country Strings: Disabled

Logging: Disabled
Remove 002 Protection: Enabled
Fake IOS Version: Disabled:
Load Requested IOS: Enabled
9) Press A and your now playing Any Game

Hallo Zusammen

Hab mir grad die PAL-Version auf die Festplatte gezogen und mit dem CFG USB Loader gespielt. Es läuft einwandfrei, ausser eben, man stellt sich unter einen Wasserfall (egal welchen), dann bleibts hängen. Wenn man aber immer weiter läuft, gehts. Also sobald einer ne Lösung hat, bitte gleich posten...

Bringt aber nix, spätestens wenn du die grüne Leiste für ein Upgrade voll hast wird es crashen.

 

Hey es gibt nen Patch für PoP - muss man nur die main.dol extrahieren und ein paar Bytes verändern.
Nur wie verwendet man den WiiScrubber ?? Hab mich nie mit beschäftigt...

WiiSrcubber iss das nicht nen Prog wo man vom OriGame ne Iso von macht wo überschüssiges Material entfernt wird?

Ok hab das ISO genommen.

Wiiscrubber runtergeladen, die "makekeybin" gestartet, 40 als Wert eingegeben.

Dann die Wiiscrubber.exe gestartet, das ISO geladen, in Teil 1 die main.dol gesucht.
Die extrahiert, dann im HEX Editor geladen und folgende Bytes geändert:

So muss der Block nacher aussehn.
Dann die main.col speichern und im Wiiscrubber auf die main.dol gehn, rechtsklick, dann replace , dann die gepatchte main.dol suchen, wiiscrubber zumachen.
ISO auf die Platte und mit Neogamma (hab R8 RC2) laden (cfg loader ging bei mir nicht, aber anscheinend gehts auch damit)

 

Na dann probier ich das auch mal... Feedback obs geklappt hat kommt später...
